Format

• Scoring method
  • All matches will be scored using Cross IMPs converted to Victory Points (VPs) using the appropriate WBF Continuous VP Scale
    
  • Here is a short article which explains Cross-IMP Scoring
•  Qualifiers
  • A round robin of 12-board matches
  • The top eight (8) pairs qualify to play the Finals and the remaining pairs are knocked out
  • Finalists carry over 75% (12/16ths) of their total VP score from matches played against the other finalists - scores against pairs who have been knocked out are dropped and do not count
• Finals
  • A round robin of 16-board matches (112 boards in total)
  • Scores are added to the carry-over totals to determine final ranking
  • Each pair will have played 28 boards against each other pair - i.e. 12 boards in the Qualifiers and 16 boards in the Finals
