There will be a Qualifying round to split the field into three sections for the Finals.

Qualifying Round - Saturday 23 November

    • A single section playing an extended Mitchell movement with nine three-board rounds in the morning and the same again in the afternoon, making a total of 54 boards against 18 opposing pairs.
    • Your position at the end of the Qualifying round will determine your section for the Finals as follows:
      • Positions 1-7 NS and EW (14 pairs in total) move to the Championship (or "A") section
      • Positions 8-14 NS and EW (14 pairs in total) move to the Congress (or "B") section
      • The remaining pairs (positions 15 onwards) move to the Plate (or "C") section.
    • Scores will not be carried over into the Finals.
    • The results and hand records will be made available here as soon as possible after the end of play.
    • Please view the results of the Qualifiers to be certain you know in which section you will be playing in the Finals.

    Finals - Sunday 24 November

    • Three separate sections - Championship, Congress and Plate.
    • Each section will play a Full Howell movement comprising 13 rounds of four boards, 52 boards in all.
    • You will play seven rounds (28 boards) before lunch and six rounds (24 boards) after lunch.
    • Remember, you can and should save time (and conserve the little grey cells) by claiming or conceding whenever possible, not forgetting of course to announce your line of play.
    • The results and hand records will be made available here as soon as possible after the end of play..
